For You Lovely Baby Girl...and a surprise Blessing

Well, we made it through Christmas Eve without you Baby Girl. We had a really special service at church and Papa and I sang one of your Big Sissy's songs.....how I wish you could have been there to hear it, how I wish she could have been there. We made it through Christmas Day and we had a very good day with Family and laughter and food and presents, but always in my heart and in the lump in my throat was the thought "I wonder how Lovely is today"......I wish she was here. All the presents were opened, the family went home, the house put back together and cleaned again and then I saw it: The large Chrstmas gift bag full of your gifts. There are of course you Christmas Jammies everybody but you knows about already! And 2 other very special gifts one that was ready and waiting for you last Christmas and is still going to stay wrapped and ready for you! Micah has spent the whole day today playing with your new kitchen our very special friends passed down to you and he has said the whole day "Lovely's comning home soon,I gonna share with Lovely she gonna love our kitchen!" Very soon, very, very soon we will bring that bag of gifts to you and watch you open them while you have on your Christmas Jammies! Then we will lay down and sleep side by side for your last night in Haiti. For now, the Christmas tree is still up and will stay that way as long as we can let it, the decorations will stay up and we will pray everyday as we have for the last 22 almost 23 months for your arrival and know that it will be Christmas to us no matter what date it says it is on the calendar!
For tonight know Mama never goes even a few minutes without thinking about you, missing you and most of all every second loving you!
See you very,very soon! Mama
P.S. As an amazing miracle Blessing Papa opened up an envelope on Christmas Day and there in that envelope was a check for the very last amount of money we needed to buy you a plane ticket for your ride home!!! Jesus is taking care of each and every single detail! And, the last time Mama and Papa were given a surprise gift like that to help get us to Haiti to go to court well that very week we got the email to come to court!!!! SO we are just going to believe that Jesus is giving us a little special hint that our email to "Prepare to Travel" to come and bring you home is coming any day!(oh, and Papa cried when he showed me that envelope! He misses you so very, very much!!!Soon Baby girl, soon!)

Your post brought tears to my eyes. Christmas was so difficult knowing our beautiful daughters could not be with us. But next year, next year will be different! :-)
